Here today for your consideration we have this superb antique sterling silver tea strainer, likely of Hanau origin with worn English import stamps, c-1900. The strainer features richly chased detail, with vignettes of cherubs with cornucopias as well as bunches of lilies and an angel playing a harp. The quality is very good throughout, with the strainer free from any major damage. The English import marks are worn, and the strainer is without monogram or crest. A very fine and useful piece of period silver for the collection.
