Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver candle holder, made by Henry Clifford Davis of Birmingham, c-1909. The piece is of classic form with wide weighted base and turned detail, being of good quality throughout. Condition is fair used, with plenty of knocks and dents but no obvious major splits anywhere. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine and useful early 20th century silver candlestick for the collection.
The candlestick has a diameter of 7cm at the base, with the reservoir allowing a candle of 2cm diameter. Unpacked, it weighs in at 126gms (weighted base).
