Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful set of early Victorian table knives, made with sterling silver handles and steel blades by H. G. Long & Co of Sheffield, c-1840's. The set includes a dinner and entree knife, each with matching blade and handle and being of generally good quality throughout. Condition is fair used, with the dinner knife handle having a split to the top, with the blades having some minor surface rust and markings. Both knives are monogrammed to the handles, with the hallmarks mostly worn (lion passant remaining to both). A nice set of 19th century pistol-grip knives for the collector.
The knives measure 20.5cm and 18.5cm long, with the set weighing in at 113gms unpacked.
