Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful set of three sterling 950-grade dinner forks, made by Louis Patient Cottat of Paris, c-1835. The forks have been produced in the popular Fiddle & Thread design and are of exceptional quality and gauge. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (some rounding of tines evident from use). Each fork features a well executed but fading stamp to the stem face and a crest to the verso, with the hallmarks being about 60% overall (maker worn to two forks). A very fine and attractive set of 19th century French silver for the collection.
Each fork measures 20.5cm long, with the set weighing in at 258gms unpacked.
