Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful 19th century set of four solid 950-grade sterling silver entree or dessert knives, made by Pierre Quielle of Paris, c-1838-1846. The set is of fiddle and thread design with rounded blades, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with some separation between the blade and handles evident (would benefit from professional resetting). The blades have a few normal signs of wear, with the handles having some slight depressions. Both blade and handles are hallmarked (handle hallmarks fading), with the set free from monogram or crest. A fine set of high purity silver knives from a good Parisian maker.
Each knife measures 20cm long, with the set weighing in at 172gms unpacked.
