Here today for your consideration we have this superb 19th century solid 875-grade silver tablespoon, assayed by Aleksandr Nikolayevich of St. Petersburg, c-1864. This beautiful piece is of plain form and features unusual raised lettering to the face, indicating this was a custom commission for a wealthy family of the time. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The lettering is in good order, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A fine piece of Russian silver for the collection.
