Here today for your consideration we have this superb set of Chinese silver pepper or salt pots, made by Wing Chun of Hong Kong, c-1880. This beautiful pair features a tea caddy-like shape but with differences in expression; one having overstated Chinese characters and the other having dragon, bamboo, flower and Chinese character vignettes. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The lids sit tightly to the bases, with the hallmarks being about 80% overall. A very fine set of Chinese silver for the collection.
Each piece stands about 4cm tall, with the set weighing in at 52gms combined.
