Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Chinese export silver cake knife, made by Hung Chong of Shanghai, c-1900. This excellent piece features a hammered handle with cartouche to one face and a double edged blade, one side being smooth and the other serrated. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The serrated edge is in good order, and the handle is without damage. The knife is without monogram or crest, with the hallmarks struck to the blade. A very fine piece from a prominent Chinese silversmith.
The knife measures 25.5cm long and weighs in at 91gms unpacked.
