Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful antique solid 826-grade silver salt cellar, made by V. Christensen and assayed by Simon Groth of Copenhagen, c-1900. The cellar stands atop four leaf-detailed feet and is of cauldron form, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (bruise to the rim evident, per photos). The cellar is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive piece of Danish silver for the collection.
The cellar stands 3cm tall and has a diameter of 6cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at 48gms.
