Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful antique set of twelve Austro-Hungarian solid 800-silver handled dinner knives, with newer stainless steel blades by Jernbolaget of Sweden. The set features nicely pressed floral detail to the handles, with the blade in as-new condition. The handles have hallmarks that pre-date 1922, and are in very good condition for their age with no major damage to note. Eleven of the twelve knives have a hallmark to one side, with three of these being on the reverse. Some handles have a slight rattle when shaken (some loose plaster inside), but the blades are all securely attached to the handles with no movement whatsoever. All in all, this is a very fine set of twelve table knives to add to or complete the collection.
Each knife measures 25cm (10") long, with the set weighing in at 1,165gms unpacked.
