Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic antique solid 9ct rosey-yellow gold fob chain, made by Phillips & Mayell of Chester, c-1920. The chain is of solid paperclip design with a combination of round and elongated links and terminating in twin Albert clasps, being of very good quality throughout. The chain is in good used condition with no damage to note. Both clasps are matching, with every link touch-marked (although many are wearing or worn). A very good early 20th century necklace-length watch chain in solid 9ct gold.
The elongated links measure 27mm x 6mm, with the chain measuring 44cm (17.5") long. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable and precise 30.00gms.
