Here today for your consideration we have this very impressive Art Deco solid 830-grade silver footed trophy bowl, made by Gottlieb Kurz of Hannover (Germany), c-1938. This large piece features a lightly hammered finish throughout and is of very nice oval form, having overstated feet and deep bowl. The bowls is in reasonably good used condition, with a shallow crease to the bowl and a few pinpricks (including one which has split, refer photos). The bowl has some stubborn black spots which will require a dedicated clean. This is an incredibly attractive and high quality solid silver bowl, being both a historical relic and a practical piece for use.
The bowl measures 42cm (16.5") x 31cm (12") at the rim, standing about 8cm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at an impressive 1040gms.
