Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic mid 20th century sterling silver presentation salver, made by Warner Brothers of Delhi, c-1946. The salver was presented to W. Bro. C. S. Whitfield of the D.A.G.D.C Bengal by members of Lodge St Andrew (No. 4229 E. C) in token of esteem & well-wishing on the 3rd of June 1946, being extensively signed to the face by lodge members. The salver is of tri-foot design with scalloped rim, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The legs are in good order with the piece sitting sturdily on a flat table, being hallmarked twice under the tray. A beautiful and practical Indian silver serving salver for the collection.
The salver stands 2.5cm tall and has a diameter of 20.5cm (8") across the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at 391gms.
