Antique Art Deco 1920 W J Sanders Australian Sterling Silver Cigarette Card Case

Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco sterling silver cigarette case, made by W J Sanders of Sydney, c-1920's. The case is of hip shape and plain form with gilt interior, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a couple of minor depressions and some tarnish to the internal gilding evident. The hinge is smooth and the clasp latches as intended. The case features a well executed monogram to the centre with a leafy detail to the bottom corner (covering an existing monogram), with the case hallmarked internally. A lovely piece of early 20th century Australian silver for the collection. 

Closed, the case measures 8cm x 6cm, weighing in at 62gms unpacked.
