Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Art Deco sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, made by Viner's Ltd of Sheffield, c-1921. The set includes a teapot, coffee/hot water pot, creamer and sugar bowl, each of matching design with half-fluted bases and oval footings. The quality is very good throughout in both gauge and design, with the set nicely proportioned. Condition is reasonably good used, with a few minor bumps across the set and some minor impact damage to the base of the hot water pot, and the teapot lid sitting a little proud (per photos). The handles are of differing toning but same shape, and are tight to the bodies of the pots. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. A beautiful early 20th century classic-styled four-piece tea set in English sterling silver.
The hot water pot stands 22cm tall with the teapot measuring 27.5cm handle-to-spout. Both the hot water pot and teapot have comfortable capacities of 1,250ml, and both pour beautifully. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 1,704gms.
