Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful early Art Deco sterling silver porringer, made by Charles Edwards of London and retailed by W. M. Drummond & Company of Melbourne, c-1923. The piece is of relatively understated form with stylistic handles and reeded rim, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a few minor depressions throughout. The bowl features a well executed presentation to one face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive early 20th century sterling silver bowl of Australian historical interest for the collection.
The bowl stands 6cm tall and measures 15.5cm handle-to-handle. Unpacked, it weighs in at a generous 111gms.
