Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Art Deco sterling silver three piece cruet set, made by Wakely & Wheeler of London, c-1926. The set includes a trencher salt cellar, pepperette and hinged-lid mustard pot with clear glass liner, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with minimal damage to note. The mustard pot lid sits proud and requires adjustment, with some internal salt corrosion under the liner evident. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 50% overall (fading in places). A lovely early 20th century English silver cruet set for the collection.
The pepperette stands 7.5cm tall, with the salt cellar having a diameter of 7cm at the base. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 310gms, with the silver accounting for 243gms of this.
