Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Art Deco silver plated tennis trophy cup, made by WMF of Germany c-1926. The cup features twin racquets draped in a floral wreath to the stem with garland embellishment and gilt interior, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with some plate wear evident in the normal places (per photos). The presentation has been very well executed to one face, with the hallmark well struck to the foot. A most attractive early 20th century silver plated trophy goblet from a quality German firm.
The cup stands 21cm tall and has a diameter of 8.5cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at 309gms.
