Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco sterling silver flask, made by James Dixon & Sons Ltd of Sheffield, c-1928. The flask is of hip shape with hinged globe lid and gilt cup, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few minor depressions here and there, nothing too serious). The lid includes the cork with the twist mechanism locking tightly, with the cup snuggly fitted to the flask. The piece is monogrammed to both sides, with an amateurish presentation evident to the surface behind the cup (per photos). Both cup and flask are hallmarked, with the lid having the lion passant stamp both inside and out. A fine and useful early 20th century sterling silver flask for the collection.
The flask stands 14cm tall and measures 9cm x 3cm across the body. It has a comfortable capacity of 200mls, and weighs in at a respectable 267gms unpacked.
