Here today for your consideration we have this superb Art Deco sterling silver footed tray, made by Roberts & Belk Ltd of Sheffield, c-1929. The tray is of oval form with central bright-cut sunrise embellishment, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (some minor superficial scratching to the surface evident). The tray is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A useful solid sterling silver tray from one of the best Sheffield makers of the time.
The tray measures 31.5cm x 22.5cm at the rim (12.5" x 9") and weighs in at a respectable 727gms unpacked.
The final photo shows the tray with some glassware and a bottle of wine. These items have been used to show the scale of the piece, and are not included in the sale.
