Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Art Deco five-piece sterling silver cruet set, including a hinged-lid mustard pot, an open salt cellar and a pepper pot with matching salt and mustard spoons. The spoons were made by Adie Brothers Ltd of Birmingham, c-1932, with the remainder of the set by Collingwood & Sons Ltd of Birmingham, also c-1932. The set is of classic Deco design with truncated corners and semi-round handles, with the salt cellar and mustard pot complete with original fitted blue glass liners. The quality is very good throughout, with no major condition issues to note (some minor salt corrosion to the interior of the salt cellar, per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The box is a little shabby but complete, with hinges and clasp working as intended. A simple and elegant early 20th century English silver cruet set for the collection.
The pepper pot stands 7.5cm tall, with the salt cellar measuring 5cm x 3.5cm at the rim. Unpacked, the set weighs in at a total of 463gms, with just the silver (excluding the glass liners) weighing in at 123gms.
