Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Art Deco sterling silver three-piece tea set, made by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd of Chester, c-1932. The set includes a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, each of matching design and hallmark. Condition is reasonably good used, with a few minor depressions here and there and with the teapot lid sitting a couple of millimeters proud (hinge a little stiff, lubrication may help). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 60% overall (fading in places). The handle is without movement, with the spout pouring beautifully. A fine quality solid silver tea set ready for service.
The teapot measures 30cm handle-to-spout and has a comfortable capacity of 1.3L. Unpacked, the set weighs in at a respectable 1,139gms.
