Here today for your consideration we have this very nice Art Deco sterling silver half-pint mug, made by Joseph Smith & Sons of Birmingham, c-1932. The mug is of tapering form with hollow tube handle, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a couple of minor depressions to the finish, nothing too serious). The mug is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A useful early 20th century sterling silver mug for the collection.
The mug stands 9cm tall and has a diameter of 7.5cm at the base. It has a capacity of 270mls and a generous weight of 176gms.
