Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic pair of large Art Deco sterling silver sauce boats, made by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd of Chester, c-1934. The set is of traditional tri-foot form with acanthus detail to the handles and gadrooning to the rims, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The pair is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A truly exquisite set of gravy boats for the fastidious collector.
Each boat stands 11cm tall and measures 19.5cm handle-to-spout. Unpacked, the set weighs in at a very generous 689gms.
