Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco glass vanity bottle, having sterling silver mount and lid by W G Sothers Ltd of Birmingham, c-1936. The bottle is of rectangular form with screw-on engine turned lid inset with faux tortoiseshell, being of exceptional quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no chips or cracks to the glass or faux panel. The lid sits a little askew from the base when fully tightened, although loosening it near a quarter turn will result in an even presentation. The bottle is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine quality vanity bottle for the collection.
The piece measures 51mm x 29mm at the base and stands 92mm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 122gms.
