Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco sterling silver trophy cup, made by James Walker Ltd of Birmingham, c-1936. This wonderful example has been awarded by H.J.S (Highgate Junior School) as a 1st place prize for swimming/diving. The cup is in good used condition, having no major damage to note (a couple of minor bends and depressions from ordinary use - refer photos). The engraving has been beautifully executed, with the hallmarks crisp and clear. A very attractive piece for the collection.
The trophy cup stands 9cm tall and measures 11cm handle-to-handle. Unpacked, it weighs in at 67gms.
