Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Art Deco sterling silver salt or pepper pot, made in Birmingham, c-1939. The pot is of pierced cylinder design with blue glass liner and tension set lid, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a minor bend to the finial, per photos). The lid is tight to the base, with the hallmarks fading throughout (maker illegible). A very attractive piece of mid 20th century sterling silver for the collection.
The pot stands 7cm tall and weighs in at 48gms unpacked, with the silver accounting for 19gms of this weight.
