Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Art Deco sterling silver cigarette case, made by Smith & Bartlam of Birmingham, c-1945. The case is of large proportion being of rectangular shape with engine-turned covers and bright silver interior, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a dedicated polish may enhance presentation), The hinge is in good order with the latch working as intended. The case features a well executed monogram to the cartouche, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A good quality mid century English sterling silver case with a multitude of modern-day applications.
The case measures 11.5cm x 9cm (closed) and weighs in at a respectable 167gms unpacked.
