Antique Art Deco 1947 Sterling Silver Horovitz Comport Footed Bowl Loving Cup

Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco sterling footed bowl, made by Adie Brothers Ltd of Birmingham for the jewellery Alexandrie Horovitz of France, c-1947. The bowl sits atop a footed base with twin acanthus-styled handles and shell motifs to the rim, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a couple of internal spots would benefit from a dedicated polish). The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An excellent quality sterling silver bowl for the collection.

The piece stands 10cm tall and measures 19cm x 13.5cm at the handles and rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 284gms.
