Here today for your consideration we have this lovely late Art Deco sterling silver-backed clothes brush, made by Adie Brothers of Birmingham, c-1949. The brush is of rounded rectangular design with engine-turned detail, being of good quality throughout. Condition is fair used, with the silver backing sustaining many bumps and bruises and being a little loose (but still very attached) to the timber backing. The brush features a stylistic monogram to the cartouche, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A charming silver backed brush for the collection.
The brush measures 11.5cm x 6.5cm and weighs in at 83gms unpacked.
