Here today for your consideration we have this lovely late Edwardian sterling silver-backed nail buffer, made by Sanders & MacKenzie of Birmingham, c-1919. The buffer is of oval form with understated detailing, being of good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with some slight movement between the backing and buffer and a few minor dents to the silver in places. The buffer is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A nice piece for the collection.
The buffer measures 14cm long and weighs in at 27gms unpacked.
