Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian sterling silver powder jar, made by Dowler & Sons of Birmingham, c-1904. The lid features lovely Art Nouveau influence with the jar produced in the hobnail design, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few minor bumps to the lid evident, per photos). The glass is free from chips or cracks, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine quality early 20th century English silver vanity jar for the collection.
The bottle stands 5.5cm tall and has an overall diameter of 8cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 169gms.
