The brooch is in reasonably good used condition, with evidence of an early lead repair to the reverse (per photos). The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the piece hallmarked to the back. A striking early 20th century gold brooch for the collection.
The garnet has a diameter of 4mm, with the brooch measuring 37mm long. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.21gms.
