Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian solid 9ct yellow gold brooch, made by J Lawrence of Melbourne, c-1920. The brooch is of single bar design and features an oval-cut white topaz solitaire, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The topaz has a couple of minor internal inclusions, with the table remaining free from chips or cracks. The pin holds good tension within the clasp, with the brooch hallmarked to the reverse. A classic antique brooch for the collection, or speak with your jeweller about transforming it into a delightful solitaire ring.
The topaz measures 11mm x 9mm and has an estimated weight of 3.51cts. The brooch measures 47mm long and weighs in at 2.86gms unpacked.
