Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful antique solid 9ct yellow gold brooch, made by Willis & Sons of Melbourne, c-1910. The brooch is of understated design, featuring a continuous ring of black enamel against a gold backing, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no losses to the enamel. The gold backing has a few minor depressions, with the pin holding reasonably good tension within the catch. A beautiful early 20th century Australian gold brooch for the collector.
The enamel ring measures 4mm wide, with the brooch having an overall diameter of 23mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.24gms.
