Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold pendant brooch, being of starburst and crescent design, c-1910. The brooch features nine (9) round-cut green demantoid garnets and a total of eighty (80) graduating seed pearls, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with a few losses to the some of the garnets (visible under a loupe; the piece presents well otherwise). The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the bail fully incorporated. An eye-catching and versatile piece of antique jewellery in solid gold.
The garnets have diameters of 2mm - 3mm, with the piece having a diameter of 36mm across the face. Unpacked, it weighs in at 8.17gms.
