Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian/Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold bar brooch, featuring a central oval-cut tourmaline within a claw-set mount. The brooch is in very good vintage condition with no observable damage to note. The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the hallmarks present to the reverse. A very fine and versatile piece for the collection.
The brooch measures 5cm long with the tourmaline measuring around 9mm x 6mm and having an estimated weight of 1.36cts. Unpacked, it weighs in at exactly 3gms.
