Here today for your consideration we have this nice set of Georgian-style Edwardian sterling silver sugar nips or tongs, made by Maurice Freeman of London, c-1900. The set is of hinged design with shell detail to the bowls, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (no date letter stamped). A versatile set of turn of the century sterling silver nips for sugar, or repurpose for antipasto and other pickles.
