Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold brooch, made by E Fischer & Son of Melbourne, c-1900. The brooch features c-112 natural turquoise cabochons pave set in a domed formation, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to the stones or gold to note (a couple of shallow depressions to the gold backing evident). The pin is reasonably well held within the catch (some adjustment would improve security), with the brooch hallmarked for the maker to the reverse (no purity mark; tested and guaranteed 15ct throughout). A jump ring at the top of the reverse would be suitable for adding a safety chain, or speak with your jeweller about adding a bail to wear as a pendant. A beautiful turn of the century Australian gold brooch for the fastidious collector.
