Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian sterling silver pill box, made by Gourdel Vales & Co of Birmingham, c-1900. The box is of love heart shape with repousse detail to the hinged lid and gilt interior, being of good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The box features a well executed monogram to the cartouche, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A lovely turn of the century English silver pill box, which could double as a ring box for a smaller setting.
The box measures 29mm x 28mm and stands about 13mm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 7gms.
