Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian sterling silver salt cellar, made by Wakely & Wheeler of London, c-1900. This beautiful piece features a half fluted base with floral decoration to the top half, complete with fitted cobalt-blue glass liner to the interior. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (salt corrosion evident to interior, refer photos). The glass liner is without damage with the hallmarks being about 80% overall. An attractive piece for the collection.
The cellar stands 3cm tall and has a diameter of 4cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at 55gms with the silver accounting for 28gms of this.
