Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful pair of Edwardian sterling silver footed sweets bowls or bon bon dishes, made by Jay & Richard Attenborough & Co of Chester, c-1901. Each bowl sits atop a multi-stepped plinth base and rises to a pierced gallery with circle and diamond detail throughout. The quality is very good to throughout in both design and execution, with the silver being of very good gauge. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few internal spots will benefit from a dedicated polish). Each piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A very fine and useful set of antique silver for the home.
Each bowl stands 7.5cm tall and has a diameter of about 13.5cm at the rim. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 271gms.
