Here today for your consideration we have this superb Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold prize fob medal pendant, made by F & W Stewart of Launceston, c-1902. The medal was awarded by J&T Gunn (a large building business of the time) likely at one of their staff picnics to F Homes. The pendant is of beautiful quality throughout and in very good condition, with no major damage to note. The presentation is nicely executed, with the hallmark in good order. A feed-on jump ring is included, allowing the medal to be worn as an eye catching pendant if desired. A very attractive Australian turn of the century pendant fob in high carat solid gold.
Including the jump ring, the medal measures 44mm x 28mm and weighs in at a generous 6.83gms.
