Here today for your consideration we have this large Edwardian sterling silver-handled button hook, made by Henry Matthews of Birmingham, c-1902. This lovely piece features a shaped hollow handle with steel hook, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (surface rust evident to steel, a few minor depressions to the handle from use). The handle features a well executed monogram to one face, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. An attractive piece for the collection.
The hook measures 23.5cm long and weighs in at 49gms unpacked.
