Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Edwardian sterling silver crumb scoop, made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd of London, c-1903. The scoop features a plain handle and ferrule with decorative join to the catching tray, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with a stable crack to the handle evident and some disruption to the silver edge of the scoop. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A hard-to-find sterling crumb scoop from one of the best London firms of the time.
The piece measures 32cm long and weighs in at 195gms unpacked.
