Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Edwardian twelve-piece silver plated dessert knife and fork set, made by Roberts & Belk of Sheffield and retailed by Alexander Philip of Edinburgh, c-1900. The set includes six solid-cast knives and forks, each with matching shell detail to the tab. Condition is good used, with minimal (if any) plate wear to note. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks in very good order. The walnut box is a little shabby, with the busted lock preventing full closure of the lid (per photos), but hinges working as intended. A fine and good quality English dessert cutlery set for the collection.
The knives and forks measure 19cm and 16.5cm long respectively, with the boxed set weighing in at 1,679gms.
