Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful solid 15ct yellow gold convertible pendant brooch, made by William Drummond & Co of Melbourne, c-1905. This versatile jewellery piece features strong Art Nouveau themes embellished with a total of thirty-four (34) seed pearls, framing an off-centre round cut peridot glass stone. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The main stone is without major damage, with the seed pearls in great order (a couple of replacements evident). The pin holds good tension within the clasp, with the removeable bail in good condition. A very attractive solid gold pendant brooch for the discerning collector.
The peridot glass has a diameter of 5.5mm, with the piece (including bail) measuring 46mm x 23mm across the face. Unpacked, it weighs in at 4.18gms.
