Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian hobnail glass grenade-shape perfume bottle, having screw-on sterling silver lid by William Devenport of Birmingham, c-1905. The lid is of repousse styling with scroll detail, with the bottle being of good quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The lid has a few dents to the top and some evidence of squashing, but still screws smoothly to the base. The lid is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A charming early 20th century silver and glass perfume bottle of good size.
The bottle stands 11.5cm tall and has a diameter of 8.5cm across the centre. Unpacked, it weighs in at 316gms.
