Here today for your consideration we have this sweet pair of Edwardian sterling silver salt cellars with matching spoons, made by E S Barnsley & Co of Birmingham, c-1906. Each salt is of four-footed oval deign with bulbous body and decorative rims, being of reasonably good quality and very good gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with a couple of the feet warped (slight wobble) and some evidence of salt corrosion to the finish in places (per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 60% overall (fading). An attractive pair of early 20th century English silver salt cellars with original matching spoons.
Each cellar stands 4.5cm tall and measures 6.5cm x 5cm at the rim, with the spoons measuring just over 7cm long. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 103gms.
