Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian seven-piece fruit and nut serving set, made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, c-1907. The set is beautifully decorated with repeating vine motifs and includes two berry spoons with gilt bowls, two sets of nutcrackers, two nutpicks with mother of pearl handles and a set of grape shears, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with minimal plate wear evident throughout. The set is free from monogram or crest, with most pieces hallmarked for the maker (with the exception of the nut picks). The box is a little shabby but complete, with hinges and clasp working as intended. A most attractive early 20th century fruit and nut set from a quality English maker.
The spoons measure 21.5cm long, with the boxed set weighing in at 1,135gms in total.
